Chat Programs
On this page you will find links to all sorts of chat programs that are a must for the chat
fanatic.Some newbies might not be
familiar with some or all of these programs. I suggest you give it a
try. You don't know what you're missing till you've tried chat! Who knows what can happen. I met
my wife from Australia on Dalnet's #Funfactory using mIRC! Go ahead, get a little crazy and go
for it.
These programs all are free of charge and are neither timeout, trial or "crippleware."
mIRC a popular chat program
ICQ another must have program for
knowing if and when you're friends are online and meeting and making new friends.
Netmeeting is another
excellent video and audio program from Microsoft. You can video conference with family and
friends in real time
Hearme a not so well known but
excellent program (requires Windows) where you can see and hear video without having to own a
cam yourself. Some excellent shows here... ;)
Pirch and vIRC more examples of
fine and interesting chat software.
Gooey is a program designed to let you see
and chat with people in real time that are surfing on the same web page as you.
CuSeeMe another excellent video
program. This one may, as of now, be a DEMO version I'm not sure. It's still worth a try.
More good shows happening here... [hint][hint] ;)
